Generations to Generations: A Conference for All Men | Events | Ministry To Men

Florida Men of Integrity (FMI) has developed with A Chosen Generation, a ministry headed up by Dr. Chuck Stecker which is devoted to inter-generational discipleship, a new men's conference called, Generations to Generations. This is a one-day conference specifically designed for churches to use to implement inter-generational discipleship and build strong men in their church. This is the first conference in America devoted to all aspects of inter-generational discipleship in the local church. Dr. Stecker and A Chosen Generation plan to take this conference in 2011 across America. FMI plans to take the conference across Florida beginning in 2011.

Sons between the ages of 13 and 22 attend free; lunch and snack are only $8.00 for sons.

Background:
The church has lost spiritual continuity from Generation to Generation. Not only are we seeing the loss of young men and women at epidemic proportions, we are also experiencing the loss of seniors at a magnitude never before imagined. One of the greatest reasons for the loss of the young and the not-so-young has been attributed to the lack of significant intergenerational relationships.

Purpose:
Provide a safe masculine environment for men of all ages to raise their awareness and to acknowledge the criticality of vital intergenerational issues and to begin equipping men to build other men of all generations.

Objectives:
1. Help men become aware of the loss of intergenerational relationships among men today.
2. Give men an opportunity to acknowledge the criticality of men engaging "Generation to Generation."
3. Provide workshops that equip men to build strong men in their local church.
