PILGER, Neb.-- UM Men of the Great Plains Annual Conference will provide copies of Strength for Service to God and Community to 200 first responders and volunteers who are providing support for tornado victims in northeast Nebraska.

The books will be distributed by Linda Stewart, conference disaster response coordinator.

The effort is led by Doug Kallesen, communications director of the Prairie River District UM Men.

June 16 tornadoes killed two people, including a 5-year-old girl, and destroyed 150 homes.
