Commission Celebrates Top Executive’s Retirement

 

The General Commission gathered on Sat, October 2, 2021, to celebrate the retirement of Mr. Gil Hanke, the commission top executive.  The celebration was held at the Cookery, a non-profit restaurant in Nashville that works with the homeless community providing meals and training in the culinary arts.  This training prepares the participants for employment in the food industry. 

 Bishop James Swanson, board president, brought greetings from the board and highlighted Hanke’s accomplishments with the commission.

Bishop Gary Mueller, vice president of the commission’s board was unable to attend but shared his memories and congratulations by video.
