Chaplain of Dallas Cowboys to speak at Richardson church
RICHARDSON, Texas––John Tolson, chaplain of the Dallas Cowboys NFL team, will be the major speaker at a March 30 event at First United Methodist Church here.
Tolson, founder of a disciple-making ministry that has helped one million men achieve success in life, family and business, is author of a book based on the locker room messages he gave as chaplain for the Cowboys.
Addressing the theme of the day, “Discipleship—Get in the Game,” Tolson sees Jesus’ disciple-making efforts through a three-phase process: , . “Most often it is the reproducing phase that tends to be forgotten,” says Tolson.

The event is sponsored by The United Methodist Men at First UMC Richardson, the South Center Jurisdiction United Methodist Men and the General Commission on United Methodist Men. Sessions begin at 9 a.m. and will conclude at 5 p.m.
Registration for this event and lunch is $99 per person. Any church that registers three men can bring their pastor without charge.
