On September 1st at 7 p.m. Central time, the Commission on UM Men will present a 60-minute webinar on "Missions that Make a Difference."  The presentation will provide current information on local, conference level, national and international mission projects, as well as basic information on our role on Early Response Teams and the new UMCOR model being used in Haiti.

The presenter will be Gil Hanke, top staff executive of the commission. Hanke has made over 30 international mission trips as well as working in missions on a local, conference and national level.  Since moving to Tennessee in 2010, he has worked on a emergency-response team, led two teams to Haiti and continues to be involved in missions at all levels. Data from a national survey will be included. Participants will be given an opportunity  to tell their mission stories which will be compiled for a later publication/presentation.
